RJR All-Star Team Rules & Regulations

RJR Little League Team:

All SHC new consultants begin their career on an "RJR Little League Team." The team membership begins when the consultant starts his/her field training week and will last for a minimum of 3 weeks (1st week of field training + 2 weeks of active field production). The following outlines duties required for promotion to an RJR Minor League Team:
  • Must complete the field training and 32 preset appointments of personal active field production prior to being released to a RJR Minor League Team or Major League Team.
  • If two, non-preset mail-cards, call-backs, and/or referrals are sold prior to a new consultant's first day of preset appointments, that consultant will qualify for 250 SHC Bonus Points used to obtain merchandise and prizes from the RJR All-Star Team Catalog or as shown on www.shcallstar.com. As shown in "NOTE#3" on the last page of this website under the Bonus Point "Rules and Regulations", all bonus points MUST be requested each week by NLT 10:00 AM Central via email to bonuspoints@shcmarketing.com for evaluation.
  • If a new consultant submits premium equal to a $600 PPA* or greater on his/her first 32 preset appointments, then he/she will qualify for 250 SHC Bonus Points, used to obtain merchandise and prizes from the "RJR All-Star Team Catalog."
  • A $700 PPA* or greater on his/her first 32 preset appointments will earn that consultant a place on an RJR Major League Team (upon Upper Management approval, based on overall results to-date).
  • If a little league consultant does not maintain a $500 PPA* or a 20% or greater closing ratio on his/her first 16 preset appointments in the little leagues, he/she will be "recycled" back through field training, field retrained, or transferred to a non-preset appointment division. The deciding factor will be determinant of that consultant's overall results, attitude, and aptitude (trainability) for this position.

RJR Minor League Team:

  • A consultant will be promoted to the minor leagues after satisfactory completion of Little League Team requirements with an overall $500 PPA* or a 20% or greater closing ratio.
  • Any consultant promoted to an RJR Minor League Team will have the option of exercising his/her SHC Bonus Points at minor league values.
  • In order to be promoted to a RJR Major League Team, a consultant must maintain a $700 PPA* average over 3 consecutive new business submissions on an RJR Minor League Team.
  • If a minor league consultant does not maintain a $600 PPA* or a 20% or greater closing ratio on his/her first 16 preset appointments in the minor leagues, then he/she will be field retrained or transferred to a non-preset appointment division. The deciding factor will be determinant of that consultant's overall results, attitude, and aptitude (trainability) for this position.
  • If a minor league consultant falls below an overall 75% policy persistency level, he/she will be required to field re-train with his/her nearest policy persistency specialist.

RJR Major League Team:
  • A consultant will be promoted to the major leagues after satisfactory completion of prior league Team requirements with an overall $700 PPA* average over 3 consecutive new business submissions on a lower league Team.

  • In order to be promoted to an RJR All-Star Team, a consultant must maintain a $750 PPA* average over 4 consecutive new business submissions on an RJR Major League Team.
  • If a major league consultant falls below a $625 PPA* average or a 25% or greater closing ratio over 4 consecutive new business submissions on an RJR Major League Team, he/she will be demoted to the minor leagues.
  • If a major league consultant falls below an overall 75% policy persistency level, he/she will be required to field re-train with his/her nearest policy persistency specialist.
RJR All-Star Team
  • A consultant will be promoted to an RJR All-Star Team after satisfactory completion of all RJR Major League Team Requirements.
  • All newly promoted consultants to the RJR All-Star Team will have the option of trading his/her SHC Bonus Points at RJR All-Star Team values only after obtaining full All-Star Team membership. To obtain full All-Star membership, a consultant must maintain a $750 PPA* average or a 30% or greater closing ratio over 4 consecutive new business submissions.
  • To remain on an All Star Team, a consultant must maintain a $750 PPA* average or a 30% or greater closing ratio over 4 consecutive new business submissions.
  • If an RJR All-Star Team member falls below an overall 75% policy persistency level, he/she will be demoted to the major leagues and be required to field re-train with his/her nearest policy persistency specialist.
*PPA is defined as "Premium Per Appointment." and is defined as the total amount of annualized new business submitted to the SHC Headquarters that is processed and sent off to the carrier(s) for underwriting and issuance after all applications have been call-verified by the SHC Headquarter office to ensure validity and solidarity of the sale.
For example: A consultant that submits to the Headquarters $12,000.00 of cumulative production after running 16 preset appointments has a $750.00 PPA (12,000 divided by the 16 preset appmts. = $750.00 PPA).
